At the Sunset | Katie & Andrew Wedding

Meet Katie and Andrew. They are something special. From the moment we first met them, we could tell that they were our kind of people. There is a sweetness and genuineness there that we instantly connected with, and we knew that their wedding was going to be a pure delight…and it was. Andrew absolutely adores Katie, and she treats him in a way that would make any man honored to walk with her. When it was time for them to be engaged, he knew he needed to do something special to surprise her. So, what did he do? Oh, he just secretly flew down to Aruba to propose while Katie and her family were on their family vacation. When Katie first got the call to come down and see something special for her, she was annoyed because she assumed that Andrew had gone to great expense to send her flowers at the hotel (which is something he always does for her). But when she saw him, she knew it was something even better.

Here are some of our favorites from the day! Huge shout outs to two people. Chris Johnson from http://cjsdiscjockeyservice.com/ is one of the best DJ’s in the world, and as always he is a one of our favorite people to work with. When you are looking for a DJ, you cannot go wrong with him…and you cannot really do any better than him with anyone else either. And, Jackie from Patty Long Catering  was our event coordinator at the beautiful 9th Street Abby. We have known Jackie for a while, and she is always so helpful and encouraging, and any day we get to work with her, we know it’s a day we are going to smile more than usual.  This was our first time working at the Sunset Country Club, and the staff there was so great to work with as well! Plus, it was probably the most beautiful golf course in St. Louis that we have ever seen!
