So, let me just say, that I have never titled a blog post about one of our couples with the word wild as a descriptor. However, I think Laura & Jacob would agree that they did have a wild good time on their wedding day, and that it is one their guests will always look back on as an amazingly fun party and celebration of two great people. Due to their busy work schedules we had only Skyped or talked on the phone with Laura & Jacob prior to the wedding day, but we could tell just by talking that they were going to be super fun to work with and that their wedding was bound to be a fun event. We were right.
On the photo side of things, they are a striking couple…wow. These two need to make adorable babies…just saying. 😉 But looks aside, and they did look spectacular, Laura had done all of this amazing creating of centerpieces, fans for the bridesmaids, etc. that was just amazing. I’d say it was a DIY wedding, but nothing about it looked DIY. If she decided to give up practicing law she could become an event designer/decorator. Beautiful peacock themed wedding. Loved it.
We had a blast with them all day, but it was the reception, held at the Ameristar Casino, that the fun really went to a whole new level. Have you ever been to a wedding where they bring out a whole roasted pig? We have. It was awesome. The dancing never stopped, and neither did the photobooth. Everyone looked like they were having the best time with their best friends. And isn’t that what you want when you are celebrating one of the most important days of your life?
We had a blast and can’t wait to have more fun at their newly wed session (yeah, some people do engagement sessions, others do newly wed sessions!). Laura and Jacob, we love you guys – congratulations!
