Traditional Beauty | Bayley & Nicklaus

Bayley and Nick are an awesome couple, so sweet, so fun, so good looking ;). We always have certain weddings that we are extra excited for, and theirs was one of those. Bayley wanted a very traditional wedding, and that started with her gorgeous dress that was a modest lace dress, somewhat reminiscent of Princess Kate’s! They were married in the church her parents and grandparents were married in – how cool is that? Even the little details were very classy and traditional, in a way that was totally current.

We always like to get to know the bridal party and try to add to the fun of the day, rather than being ones who “rain on the parade”. As we were pulling away from the church, to drive to a family property for photos, Joel said to me, “Let’s try to get the bridal party done quickly because I can see these guys going crazy.” He proved to be exactly correct 🙂 When we arrived, several of the guys decided it would be great fun to let a few of the chickens loose and have them in our photos! It was hilarious, watching them run around trying to catch them.

Chicken catching aside, we got some beautiful photos and went on the reception to party the night away. We had a wonderful time with this special couple and are so glad we got to be a part of their special day! Congratulations Bayley & Nick!
