Katie and Andrew are a sweet couple we met in January, shortly after they got engaged. They have a precious little boy named Braeden, whom we got to meet when we did their engagement session this spring. He is just precious, and it is obvious he is well loved, not only by them but by the whole family, who was also a part of the affair! We met at Katie’s mom’s house where I did her makeup for our session. (I am really excited to be doing makeup again! It has always been a passion of mine; growing up my mom was in Mary Kay, so I had a love for all things glamour, and eventually became a consultant myself. I love that we are incorporating this into our photography, because what girl doesn’t love to have her makeup done and learn some new techniques about how to do it herself?! We got to go out on their property into some gorgeous country field with tall grass by a beautiful lake, with 2 of Katie’s 3 sisters in tow (I told you this was a family affair!). We had a great time, and it was so fun to get to connect with the family before the wedding as well. Family is so important to us, and we love working with couples who feel the same way! We’re looking forward to celebrating at the wedding this fall!
