Jamie and Manny are such a special couple! When we met them last year (through a friend’s wedding we shot) we knew they were going to be such a joy to get to know and work with. Family is very important to them, and they crafted their special day with them in mind. After a beautiful ceremony at the gorgeous Our Lady of Lourdes, they had planned an intimate reception at their home. At the risk of sounding like Franc “I love the weddings at home” 😉 There is something so personal about having your wedding celebration at your home, and this was no exception. Of course it was beautiful – spectacular flowers, a dessert bar that forced me to grab some treat every time I walked by, delicious food by Westwood Catering, a dreamy outdoor tent and a dance floor filled with family and friends who know what it means to party (props to CJ the DJ for keeping that party going)! We also got to work with some great videographers, Captured in Frames, so if you are looking for video for your wedding, be sure to check them out.
A few of my favorite highlight moments from the day were when Jamie & Manny had their first look at the Carmelite Monestary by their home, where they like to go – Manny actually teared up! The next was when Jamie read a letter she wrote to her grandpa before the ceremony – you could just feel the love and how proud he was of his girl. My final favorite moment (though there were so many) was when Manny danced with his mom to a medley of songs he put together especially for her. Such a great day and such an amazing couple! We are so honored to have been a part of it! Love and congratulations to you, Jamie & Manny!
