When we first met Jessica and James, we knew how perfect they were for each other.  Jessica’s family owns a number of McDonald’s restaurants in the area, they met each other at the McDonald’s corporate meeting. They hit it off right away, and it’s safe to say that James was rather smitten 🙂 We knew that their wedding was going to be a lovely event, and it certainly was! We started off at Jenie’s Hair Loft in O’Fallon before we headed off to their house to get everyone ready.  One awesome part was that we had several other friends in the wedding industry working with us, and the first one was Jenny from Before I Do. She is an amazing wedding planner and helped everything go sooooo smoothly.  After everyone was ready and dressed, we headed off to the ceremony at St. John UCC in Mascoutah. It was such a beautiful church, and it was made even more lovely by the amazing flowers by Becky Huffman . She does the best flowers, and we LOVE every chance we get to work with her!  The ceremony was lovely and sweet, and there was no hiding how excited everyone was.
The reception was at the lovely Hidden Lake Winery in Aviston, but before we made out way there, we had a very important stop we made. McDonald’s! We stopped by their store in Mascoutah to get some photos of the couple in their native habitat (as well as to pick up some cheeseburgers). Once we made it to the reception, we headed out for a few more photos around the lake before we went on with the party. The place was put together so perfectly. Weck Events was responsible for much of the decoration at the reception, and they did an awesome job! The party was a blast…thanks largely to the DJ Zach Lorton, who is our favorite DJ in the area. There was a rather heavy rain storm later in the evening, but it dried off so we could go out and do some nighttime photos with the happy couple before the night was through!
Huge congrats to you both! We are so happy for you!
