Up in the Aeries | Kimmie and Patrick

Here are some of our favorites from Kimmie and Patrick’s wedding at Aerie’s Winery in Grafton, IL last month. This was our second time at Aerie’s, and it is just as beautiful up there as always. Kimmie and Patrick first met when Kimmie needed some help studying for her anatomy class. Patrick, the aspiring dentist, was there to help her out. After spending time talking, they met up and the rest is history. Four years later, after Patrick has finished dental school,  he planned a little get away weekend in Southern Illinois on the wine trails. He reserved a Bed and Breakfast and brought her to a winery. At a little waterfall on the property, he got down on one knee, used her entire name, and popped the question! Obviously, she agreed.

This is such a fun loving couple, and we are so very excited for the next step in their journey together. I would say that your day was perfect…but it would have been a little better if your cats were able to attend in the flesh/fur. That would be been a bit more purrrfect.
