St Louis Wedding Photographers at St Francis Xavier College Church

Joel has known Jeremy’s family for many years – he taught some of his siblings’ Bible class, and I got to work with Jeremy’s mom at Mosaic Pregnancy and Health Center when I first moved here. So needless to say this was a really special wedding for us! We met Allison, and she was just so precious; we were super excited for them both. Their wedding day arrived with some ominous looking clouds, and though there was some rain, it couldn’t have been timed more perfectly. With just a light drizzle during our outdoor photos, and an amazingly go-with-the-flow bridal party, we had a great time traipsing around the SLU campus, where Allison and Jeremy met, for photos. They are both in the medical field, Allison is a physical therapist and Jeremy is just about to start his residency specializing in sports medicine. Although as of the date of their wedding, Allison was the only Dr. in the relationship (Jeremy hadn’t become official yet), so when the minster announced the happy couple he said “Mr. and Dr. Hartman” much to the laughter of the crowd!

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that the evening ended on an unconventional note with Pappy’s Smokehouse catering the reception! It was awesome – a first for us, serving BBQ at a wedding, but totally delicious. We had a fun time with this amazing couple and hope to be a part of many more weddings in their family 😉
