Outdoor Fall Wedding

Annie and Jason are a pretty relaxed couple, and so it only fits that they had a relaxed outdoor wedding at Pleasant Ridge Park in Fariview Heights, IL. We met up with Annie at her hotel while she was getting ready – we then went over to meet Jason at the park. They had their private first look, where Jason got to behold his bride to be in her wedding regalia for the first time. The rest of the bridal party then joined us for photos before the ceremony. The guys kept it relaxed, drinking Stag, a favorite of both the bride and groom. It was a perfect day – sunny and warm, but not too hot…basically a gorgeous fall day!

Annie’s mom and dad walked her down the aisle together, which was really special, but I think Jason’s niece sort of stole the show. The adorable little flower girl was toddling around in her beautiful white dress all through the ceremony. So precious! After the ceremony Annie and Jason mingled with their guests before going to a bar to get drinks before the reception. In addition to the traditional reception elements, Annie added one from her childhood. She used to go get ice cream, in her prettiest dress, with her uncle. So on her wedding day, in her most beautiful dress, she shared some ice cream (Ted Drew’s custard, actually) with her uncle. I love it! It was a wonderful day for a very special couple – congratulations Annie and Jason!
