Cardinals & Cubs Baseball Wedding by St Louis Wedding Photographers

Joel first met Heather & Shane back in his days of selling Epson printers at Best Buy. She was only 16 years old. They kept in touch over the years, and when Joel started doing photography professionally Heather paid attention. So it was with much anticipation and eager excitement that she approached us when she and Shane got engaged. Even though we often make new friends in our wedding couples – a great perk of our job – we also love it when we get to shoot the weddings of old friends (which, coincidentally, we get to do several times this year).

Heather and Shane were married in the beautiful St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, IL. It was a lovely ceremony, and the gorgeous stained glass made for some epic church photos! Afterwards we headed off for photos and were able to get some great shots including the Arch, where Shane proposed. And, we just had to do some photos with the couple in their Cardinals and Cubs baseball jerseys! It was a beautiful day, made even more so by the beautiful people we had the pleasure of being with.
