When we took Leslie and Ryan’s engagement photos last fall, it was my (Shannon’s) first time in Germantown, IL (although I eat their eggs regularly). It is a charming town with people who really love to live there! One of those is our groom Ryan, whose dad has been mayor most of his life. In our minds, this made this a Germantown Royal Wedding. Obviously, then…Leslie and Ryan are the Princess and Prince! So naturally when deciding on where to have their nuptials, keeping it close to home was essential. We had a fabulous time with Leslie and Ryan and all their family – we Love close knit communities! I have to say my favorite part was the dessert bar prepared by their moms. In additional to the traditional cake, they had dozens of homemade sweets from cookies to cake balls (another first for me!), and it was all delicious! Those extra touches are always so special and what make a wedding unique and personalized.
We are so excited to have shared the day with this sweet couple and wish them all the best as they begin their new life together!
