Keeping the Rain Away | Alyssa & Kyle - St Louis Wedding Photographers & Commercial Photographers

Kyle and Alyssa met almost five years ago through mutual friends, while they were out having drinks. He got her number from his friend, texted her later that evening, and the rest is history. Sometimes it’s an instant connection – it was for Alyssa & Kyle, and they became inseparable. Kyle proposed in November of 2015. Kyle is a golfer, so he told Alyssa he lost his club playing that day and we had to go find it. She thought nothing of that, and they set out to find his club. Kyle had enlisted the help of some close friends to prepare for the big moment. He led Alyssa to the spot on the course where he had lights lit on the ground leading up to a table with roses and champagne. There he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. In Alyssa’s words “I couldn’t have imagined anything more perfect or “us”, and I cannot wait to marry my best friend.” What a fabulous love story! And the start to a truly wonderful life together!

With their love of golf, it made perfect sense that they would get married at the Far Oaks Country Club, overlooking the beautiful course. The rain even held off and was as perfect a day as you could ask for in August! Alyssa originally wanted a fall wedding, so she chose to use some beautiful fall colors in her decor: navy, wine and orange. They also opted for a s’mores bar during the reception for a fun and unique dessert option. They danced the night away, and we are so glad we were there to celebrate with them! A big thanks to one of our couples from 2014, Jen & David Ott, for recommending us to Alyssa & Kyle!! We love it when we get to work with friends of our couples 🙂
