Love & Laughter in St. Charles

It was a perfect fall day for Ingrid & Ryan’s Friday wedding. We arrived in downtown St. Charles for photos before the ceremony. It was my (Shannon) first time there, and I loved it. A future shopping trip is definitely in order. Ryan and the guys arrived at the boat house to await Ingrid, so he could have his first look at her in her dress. It was a precious moment.

From there we went around downtown and had a great time laughing and photographing everyone. We usually know what to expect from bridal parties based on the bride and groom, and Ingrid and Ryan (along with their friends) are a ton of fun and very easy to work with! It was a great afternoon.  It’s always such a joy for us to meet the amazing people that we do and make new friends!

The ceremony was held outdoors at Quail Ridge Lodge in Wentzville, which is a great venue for your smaller to mid-size weddings. Ingrid had formed the aisle to the alter with pumpkins – perfect outdoor fall wedding choice! Her brother performed the ceremony, and there was such love and joy in all of those in attendance. Then the party got started! Dinner, toasts, dancing and a night of celebration. Joel and I even had a dance :).
