We’ve said it before, but we absolutely love it when couples refer us to their friends, and we get to work with more fantastic people! Such was the case with Shannon & Zach. Shannon and Angie were in each other’s wedding, and before Angie’s had even happened (last fall) she had referred Shannon to us for her and Zach’s spring wedding this year. Talk about trust. We couldn’t be more happy that we’ve gotten to meet another couple that is so fun, considerate and quirky!
Shannon & Zach love going to breweries, so for their engagement session we spent some time at Shlafly Tap Room. It was only suitable that a brewery stop be incorporated into their Columbia wedding as well. So after a lovely ceremony at the beautiful First Christian Church, we headed out to stomp around Mizzou – where Shannon went to college and then on to the Broadway Brewery.
On a super cute note, as we were walking around the quad at Mizzou, a little girl was walking behind us close enough for me to hear her conversation with her mom, which went like this…
“Mommy, look! A princess! I want to talk to the princess.”
“Ok, sweetie, let’s catch up and ask her if you can say hi”
So I whispered to Shannon, and we slowed up a bit, so this little cutie could meet a “real life princess”. 🙂
It was such a perfect day, we hit it just right when the pink Magnolia trees (my favorite!) were blooming and breathtaking, perfect weather, and just a magical day. Then we went on the brewery for some fun and (somewhat) silly photos! The party continued at the Hilton Garden Inn until well into the evening – I had to peace out before it got too rowdy 🙂 but it was an amazing day, for an amazing couple, and we are so glad we got to be a part of it!
Congratulations Shannon & Zach!
