A few Saturday’s ago we had an early engagement session that we were able to sneak into a crammed day. Catherine and Keith needed to postpone their original session from a few weeks before because they needed to be in Chicago that weekend, and since they are from Decatur, IL, we had expected to schedule the next one enough in advance that they could plan to make the trip down. It ended up that they were coming down that Saturday to work on other wedding things, and I had a 90 minute or so hole in my schedule in the morning. We had an early morning meeting, and I had plans at noon with a friend to go have guy time and shoot paintballs at each other. But, we were able to fit it in thankfully.
The weather in our home town of Collinsville, IL that morning was cold, rainy, and otherwise quite dreary. But, we persevered! The rain was mostly abated by that time, but when we were done, our hands were a little numb. But, we had a great time. We met Cathering VERY briefly at The Wedding Show back in January hosted by St. Louis Bride and Groom. She literally ran into the convention center right as we were about to tear down our booth, and we talked for just a few seconds. She had raced down From Decatur at the last minute when she heard about the show. Glad we made a good quick impression!
Catherine and Keith are a great couple, and we are very excited to get to work with them again later this year!
