A Princess Wedding

I was thinking about how I would sum up Samantha and Patrick’s wedding, and I just thought, it was a princess wedding. Not that Sam was a diva – or ANYTHING life that :). It was just a kind of fairy tale princess wedding. Let’s just start with how gorgeous she looked in her beautiful, ivory dress! It was simple, yet elegant and perfectly princess-like – all the way down to her pink shoes!

Samantha was impatiently excited waiting for the ceremony to start. As she stood in the doorway waiting to walk out and into the sanctuary, her eyes welled up with tears. The moment has arrived. All the dreaming is coming to a culmination in this moment – when she becomes Mrs. Patrick Bierman. Pachelbel’s Cannon in D begins, and she steps out on the arm of her father. This is it.

Magic.

Have I mentioned that we love our job?! We had a lot of fun celebrating with the new bride and groom and their entire entourage! And I have to say that the pink, argyle socks on the guys were one of my favorite little touches of the day! More guys should rock pink argyle 😉

After we took some great photos in downtown Belleville we went to the spectacularly decorated Recency Conference Center at the Hilton Garden Inn. Cocktail tables with black and white damask print table clothes greeted us as we walked in the door. The dining room was a shower of soft light and spectacular flower arrangements with a live band on the stage. I think one of the most creative touches was the wrapped, scratch lottery tickets at each place setting as favors! The food was spectacular, everyone enjoyed the band and the dancing. It was a wonderful celebration to a perfect day! We loved getting to celebrate with you, Samantha and Patrick! Happy happily-ever-after!
