St. Louis wedding photography for Jacqueline & Max! Here is their love story, in their own words:
We met through living at the same apartment complex. Max moved In the week before the city shut down for COVID. I went home to quarantine with my family, and he met my group of friends because they would hang out outside on the top level of the parking garage near where he parked. I officially met him when I came back to town a few weeks later. We were friends for a year before we decided to start dating.Â
He totally surprised me with a proposal. We took a trip with his parents to Italy. The first day we arrived (after clearing up from the 8-hour flight), we got dressed up (for a nice dinner – what they told me) and decided to take a walk before going to dinner. We walked all the way to the Plaza de Michelangelo (which overlooked Florence). His mom told us to stand together for a picture, and that’s when we proposed. After he proposed, he pointed out that my family had watched the proposal and were there in Florence to celebrate with us. 🙂Â
We had such a fantastic time with Jacqueline and Max along with their family and friends. We started out with everyone getting ready at the Hilton Frontenac (which is always lovely and classic). So many great family moments there…as well as a very emotional first-look between the amazing couple. Then, onto Forest Park for photos before going to College Church, which after all these years is still one of our favorite churches in all of St. Louis. And for our second time in a few months, we had a reception at Barnett on Washington, which is always such an amazing place of class for a wedding celebration.
