St Louis Wedding Photographers John Deere Tractor Pulling

Katie & Aaron from beautiful little Maeystown, IL had been planning this day for quite a while. In fact Katie was in 2 other weddings with us, while she was engaged! So coincidentally we had 3 of our brides & grooms in the wedding party that day. So fun! While June held record-breaking rainfall (and we’ve had more rainy wedding days than we care to count this year), their day was a beautiful sunny summer day. The perfect day…even if it was a touch on the warm side. 😉 We did most of their photos out at a family farm, and Aaron brought out his monster John Deere tractor that they use for their tractor pulling competitions (think a combination of a solo drag race with a really beefed up tractor pulling a massive amount of weight…that pretty much what tractor pulling is).

We love it when we get to work with couples who really value photography – it makes us get so excited about creating beautiful images for them. Katie & Aaron are those people, and theirs was one of those days we were really looking forward to. They are amazing people, and it’s evidenced by the huge company of friends and family that turned out to celebrate with them. Turner Hall, where their reception was held was filled. It was a fun night of dancing and celebrating that I’m sure went into the early morning hours!
