Love is in the air! Once September hits, the weddings in St. Louis start rolling in. September is so great because the weather is starting to cool down, but things are still so alive and vibrant. And, what better type of place for “alive and vibrant” than a place like Tower Grove Park. The ceremony was out by the ruins, and while there were some spots of rain earlier in the day, the weather cooperated and everything stayed dry! The reception was inside the historic Piper Palm House, which is always a great place for the party. It’s always a special treat when every part of the wedding day is all within 500 feet of the same place! Here’s a little bit about Katie and Sam’s story, in their own words:
“We met in college at Wash U as freshman. We became friends and started dating in our sophomore year. One of Katie’s coworkers told us about a last minute meteor shower in California so we booked a last minute trip at a cabin by the ocean to see it. After arriving we went on a hike on a remote beach just the two of us and Sam got down on one knee and proposed. We hiked around the dunes at the beach until dark giddy from the proposal/engagement. Because it was a remote area and a foggy night it ended up being really dark and we got lost on the beach but eventually found our way back, it was our first adventure as an engaged couple.“
Special thanks to the other amazing vendors for helping the day be so wonderful!
