Some months before their wedding date, Zach found out that he may have the opportunity to transfer to Switzerland for several years with his job. It wasn’t definite and the dates were uncertain, but the wedding date was possibly going to need to move. We told Courtney and Zach that as long as we were available it was no problem. Well, as it turns out, Zach and Courtney did get to cross the pond and take up residence in our favorite neutral country that holds everyone’s money 🙂 They were able to keep their wedding date the same, so it was a great homecoming for them – and a blur of last minute plans, seeing friends and family, and, oh yeah, getting married.
We had such a fun time with Courtney & Zach and all their family and friends – what a great group of people! It is so apparent that these two love each other and are loved by those around them. Their ceremony at The Journey was really special – every wedding ceremony is, but we love it when couple’s include things that are unique and meaningful to them. Courtney and Zach did a foot washing, which was really touching. Then of course there was plenty of celebration to go around at the Sheraton with a set of dualing pianos (Spanky Entertainment) that really made the party rock. However, my favorite part of the reception had to be Zach’s life-size cardboard friend, present because he too was getting married that day (Zach was at his wedding in cardboard form as well).
Congratulations Courtney & Zach!! We are so excited for you and your forever.
