Laura and Brandon are a very relaxed, fun-loving couple. We noticed it from the first time we met with them, about a year ago right now. We met them at the Gateway Bridal Show, our first show, and we were a bit nervous. Neither Joel or I are very pushy, and we hate being “sold”, so that’s certainly not our style when we do shows, and it was actually something that drew Larua and Brandon to us. When we had our consultation, they told us how much they appreciated not being pressured, but just allowed to look and absorb without hassle. (Go us!) And that was where our relationship with them started.
Even though Laura and Brandon are easy-going people, Laura is still quite organized – at least in my estimation :). She was so prepared for the wedding day with her lists and plan, that it progressed quite smoothly. It was another hot July day (this heat is just crazy), but as they were getting married at the chapel of McKendree College, we were able to stay pretty close to the A/C and still get some great shots. They had an intimate ceremony, with a friend of Laura’s family officiating. I love it when the officiant knows the couple; it is always so precious! After the kiss they danced out the aisle – totally fun :). After that we went straight away to the reception, at The Regency Conference Center, which is quickly becoming one of our favorite venues – their food is just awesome! It was a fun night, and can I just say…Brandon can dance. I was loving watching him have such a good time on the dance floor! If he can have that much fun, I have no doubt that he and Laura will have a lifetime of laughter, love and great memories! Congratulations you two!
