Willougby Wedding | Beth & Mike

Beth is a sweet friend, so when she and Mike met online earlier this year and hit it off, we were thrilled. They have both been waiting for “the one” for awhile now, so once they “knew” things moved forward pretty quickly. With a short engagement you have to get creative and sometimes compromise due to things being booked already. So even though we were already photographing 6 weddings in October, we decided to help out a friend and add 1 more!  It was a wedding close to home, taking place at one of our favorite local spots, Willoughby Farm. Willougby was a farm that has been donated to the city of Collinsville, and now is a local park with a great barn that’s available for events.

Beth had lots of help from the family getting this charming, country wedding put together. They had dozens of friends bake homemade desserts for a dessert bar. It was hands down the most beautiful and tasty dessert bar we’ve ever seen. And what is dessert without milk? So in place of a champagne fountain, they had a milk one. It was awesome. All in all a beautiful day and one we were so happy to be a part of – congratulations you guys!
