Weddings are always emotional. But for parent’s it can be even more so, when it’s their baby girl, their last daughter, getting married. Such was the case for Brigida & Kyle’s wedding. She is the baby of 5 sisters, and what a close-knit family they are. Her mom was tearing up in the Salon Joli when we arrived and continued throughout the day. We love that. We love it when families are close and when they are emotional – it’s just so special. Kyle’s family is also close, and it was clear they were excited for their son to be marrying such a sweet girl.
We started our photo time out at the Chesterfield Galaxy Movie Theater, where Brigida & Kyle had their first date. They rode over in a beautiful Bently that made us feel like we were over in jolly ole London. We had a beautiful fall day, so it was ideal for trekking around Klondike Park, which is where we headed next. There was a particular overlook they wanted, so we all walked the trail up there – dress shoes and all 🙂
Then we headed over to the reception at Wine Country Gardens. This was our first time at this venue, and it’s a lovely spot with a covered deck that still allows the open air to flow through, on a beautiful property with a great patio. After dinner Brigida & Kyle had arranged for a glow-in-the-dark balloon release. Cool idea, right? Well, note to self if you are considering anything with helium balloons…they don’t survive in hot closets. Even though the balloons wouldn’t fly, they still had a fun time swinging them around the dance floor all night.
Congratulations Brigida & Kyle – we wish you all the best!
